Intern/Volunteer

Interns are responsible for ongoing tasks and taking on operations done at Genomics Insight, such as website design, front desk service, and forum moderation.

Volunteers are given other small miscellaneous tasks and duties. Volunteers typically complete their service after 1 month. Interns may be hired over a certain season or allotted time frame.

Virtual Front Desk

The virtual front desk is responsible for greeting newcomers that arrive in our Discord server and allotting roles based on the users' credentials. This job is held over the course of time stated in the employment agreement (given upon employment).

Genomics News and History

Genomics history and news personnel are required to post genomics discoveries and historical events in the Genomics Insight Discord Server. These posts will be summarised and done on a weekly basis.

Webinar/

Genomics Talk Leads

This is a short-term staff position that allows you to share a scientific topic of interest. Each staff member is responsible for running a STEM/Genomics Talk (10-15 minute webinar) and attending one other webinar that they are not running to facilitate discussion.
